The HortProtect program provides All Risk or Named Perils greenhouse coverage for the horticultural industry. Coverage is available to all growers that qualify for membership to the applicable provincial landscape association.

Available Coverages:

1. Glass and poly greenhouses including all permanently attached fixtures and equipment
2. Collapse or damage due to snowload, iceload, or hail (All Risk coverage only)
3. Service buildings including all permanently attached fixtures and equipment
4. Boiler and machinery protection to cover mechanical breakdown of equipment necessary to your operations
5. Business interruption to replace loss of income after a loss occurs.
6. Crop protection for growing stock within the greenhouse
7. Crop protection for growing stock outside (includes limited hail coverage)

In order to provide a quote, all we need is:

• A fully completed application with a diagram identifying greenhouse location/type (this usually includes a visual inspection of the risk)
• A fully completed schedule of the growing stock values broken down by the month
